Weight: 218.6 lb (-4.2 lbs this week, -7.2 lbs total)
According to my measurements, I’ve lost 2 inches on my waist and 1.5 inches on my hips. Pants are going to fall off any minute now (jeans are stupid. I’m only buying new ones once they fall off straight out of the dryer).
Can I admit I’m hungry a lot? I’m also starting to really crave stuff like pizza. I feel deprived, even though I’m really not. I miss food, especially awful processed junk. I am beyond stocked for my cheat meal tomorrow night for my anniversary.
Things I learned this week:
- I really dig strength training. Except lunges and push-ups. Does anyone actually like those besides trainers?
- Sometimes when I eat the same thing over and over, I stop tracking carefully. I feel like that’s ok since I still know how many calories I’ve eaten.
- Sleep is really crucial to making this work. I do not have the energy to exercise on no sleep. And I’m more likely to pig out when I’m tired.
- This is incredibly boring. I’m bored writing it, which pretty much means you are bored reading it. I need to rethink this plan.
In other news, I’ve discovered a fun new game we are calling “chase the rabbit.” My husband, the not runner, can run a much faster pace, but for a much shorter period of time. Yesterday he ran past me and then I would catch up during his walk breaks. Meanwhile, I ran a heck of a lot faster trying to keep up with him. I think I can do this once a week and call it a speed workout. We followed up our run with a trip to the gym to do Rebecca‘s Back/Triceps workout. That’s my favorite workout because I love assisted pull ups. They make me feel like I’m super strong. I’d really like to be able to do a real pull up with no assistance at some point. If I can lost enough weight, that’ll be a heck of a lot easier. I felt amazing after our workout(s) and I think it’s the most fun I’ve had exercising in a long time.
In other news, my DivaCup giveaway is still running HERE. I’m sort of amazed at all the disqualifying entries I’m getting. People know I can check their tweets and see they are lying, right? Also, I got the goods for my next giveaway today. I promise it is inoffensive and unisex.
Speaking of giveaways, I won another one (I’m gonna go buy a lottery ticket at this rate). Stephanie was giving away a copy of “Running on Empty,” which Kara reviewed this morning. I can’t wait to read it!
Unfortunately, Delilah has gone back to her mail eating habits. I’m not sure who I’m more mad at, the husband who lets it happen or that dog that does it.
I feel so blah today. It felt like the work day went on forever and ever and ever and it was draining. Tomorrow is my 4th anniversary (no, LeDawn, I was not a child bride), so we are going to celebrate in style. And by style, I mean maybe I’ll wear something other than jeans and a t-shirt if husband asks nicely.
